Who I am as a Therapist
Hi there — I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who’s passionate about helping people feel truly seen, understood, and supported. I specialize in working with adolescents and couples, two groups navigating uniquely complex (and often beautifully messy) seasons of life!
In our work together, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Narrative Family Therapy–always keeping things collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to what works best for you. Whether I’m sitting with a teen sorting through tough transitions or helping a couple reconnect and strengthen their relationship, my goal is to create a space where you can show up as your full, authentic self. I firmly believe that within each person and family lies a reservoir of unique strengths to navigate life’s adversities and triumphs.
I strive to create an inclusive and affirming space for those with LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other socially marginalized identities, and am committed to continuously growing and learning as a clinician. I believe in meeting life’s challenges with a mix of empathy, pragmatism, and humor — because sometimes laughter is as healing as any intervention. My approach is grounded in systemic thinking, meaning I’ll always consider the bigger picture of your relationships, environment, and personal experiences.
“If it is not a mess, it is not progress.” – Robin Sharma
