We are hiring for a Collections/Billing Specialist to join our Administrative Team

This is a full or part time hybrid position.

Position Overview:
The Collections/Billing Specialist plays a central role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for Family Ties Counseling Center, which supports excellence in operations, clear and supportive client support, and financial sustainability. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to deliver billing, administrative, and operational services. The person in this
position demonstrates initiative in performing responsibilities and contributes to an environment of inclusivity and respect.

Company Overview:
Family Ties Counseling Center is a mid-size group practice that offers outpatient therapy services committed to providing compassionate, affirming care to our clients and community. Our staff includes more than 45 clinicians and 5 administrative team members. Our administrative office is located in a house in the John’s Landing neighborhood of Portland.

Qualification Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience working collaboratively as part of a team

  • Desire to work closely with colleagues on the Administrative Team

Work Environment
The person in this position will work in a standard onsite behavioral health office setting that requires the ability to remain stationary (standing and/or sitting) for extended periods and communicate via phone, email, and in person. Ongoing computer use is expected with frequent phone calls and other client and internal interactions and interruptions. Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds may be requested (e.g., paper, boxes, chairs, other office supplies).

This position is located in Portland, Oregon with flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.

We are hiring for a Clinical Psychologist who works with Children & Families
as well as a Clinical Psychologist who works with Individual Adults
for our outpatient mental health group practice in Portland, Oregon

This is a full-time (W2) position in a supportive group practice setting. You will be paid a percentage of fees collected, plus benefits listed below. Clinician pay varies by individual caseload and full time or part time status. Clinicians can choose how many clients to schedule each week that suits their needs/capacity as long as they meet the minimum contract requirements.

Full time status averages to 20 billable hours each week (1040 per year)
Part time status averages to 16 billable hours each week (832 per year)

Benefits for all employees include health and dental insurance; 401K; vacation time based on your need, not dictated by company limits or schedule; autonomy in scheduling; and paid sick time compliant with Portland law. Additional benefits for full time staff also include: 401K match; one week PTO each year; and additional bonuses for tenure with FTCC starting at year 5. Health and dental benefits are available, starting 60 days after hire; paid sick leave and 401k available after 90 days.

Estimated Resident pay range: $60,000-$115,000
Estimated Psychologist pay range: $75,500- $150,000

Remote vs On-site?

This position can be fully remote or a hybrid schedule based on your need/preferences.

Offices

We have two locations, one in Multnomah Village and one in the John’s Landing neighborhood in Portland. All offices are fully furnished with comfortable seating for in person and telehealth options, sand trays and toys for child/family sessions, and office supplies.
