Who I am as a Therapist
I believe everyone has the inherent right to change, grow, and heal. Life is complicated, and its challenges affect every part of who we are—both individually and in our relationships. As a relational therapist, my goal is to walk alongside you, witness your humanity, and move with you toward a place of self-compassion and resilience.
My clinical approach is rooted in a narrative, experiential, and emotion-focused lens. I recognize that alongside your primary story are many layers of feeling, circumstance, and context. I warmly welcome all individuals and relationship structures, including monogamous, ethically non-monogamous, queer, poly, kink, and straight identities. In our sessions, we will “zoom in” on your personal experiences and “zoom out” to examine the broader communities and societal contexts that shape us.
I also specialize in working with grief, death, and loss, universal experiences that require deep reflection. As a trauma-informed, queer, male-presenting therapist, I am mindful of how identity and privilege impact the therapeutic relationship; you are the expert on your life, and I honor your experience with cultural humility. With 20 years of experience as an educator and coach, I enjoy working across the lifespan—whether you are a young person, a parent, or a couple re-authoring your connection. I provide a collaborative, non-judgmental space, and I am glad you are here.
“The unknown is where we go to find new things and intuition is how we find them.” —Viola Spolin

Who I am when I’m not a Therapist
Outside the therapy room, my life is centered on creativity and connection. Having been an actor for over 20 years, I have a deep love for the artistic process, whether I’m at the theater or exploring a new city. You can often find me out dancing, cooking, discovering a new restaurant, or wandering in nature. Most of all, I cherish time with my family, including our two pugs who keep life lively and wonderfully silly.
