Who I am as a Therapist
As a therapist, I prioritize building a trusting and collaborative relationship where clients feel understood, valued, and safe to show up authentically. I’m committed to creating a trauma-informed, affirming space that welcomes and supports individuals of marginalized identities. I hold each person’s story with care and intention, and strive to honor the full complexity of your identities, lived experiences, and the context that shapes your life. Together, we’ll identify your unique strengths and explore how they can support healing and meaningful growth.
My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that when the connections between our thoughts, feelings, and actions are meaningfully understood, we are better able to make intentional choices in our lives and break free from patterns that no longer serve us. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with other evidence-based interventions that emphasize living life mindfully and in accordance with personal values and strengthening connections in relationships. I enjoy supporting your journey to gaining deeper insight and self-understanding, while also offering practical tools you can use right away to feel more capable and grounded when navigating everyday life.
I am especially passionate about working with children and teens and fostering a space where they can feel seen and empowered. I aim to engage youth in therapy by using a developmental lens to guide our work, and connecting through playfulness, humor, and creativity. I also work closely with caregivers and families, as change tends to be more meaningful and lasting when the whole family is supported. My intention is to always meet families where they are at and with the assumption that every child and caregiver wants to do the best they can. I strongly believe in the power of early and preventative mental health interventions in childhood and adolescence, and am appreciative of all families who are wanting to take this step.

Who I am when I’m not a Therapist
I love to fill my cup by spending time in nature (especially on the coast or in the mountains), dabbling in various arts and crafts, baking sweet treats, and roaming antique malls or vintage shops with my favorite people. My sweet and very goofy cat, Piper, never fails to brighten my day.
