Who I am as a Therapist

As a therapist, I strive to create a space where clients of all backgrounds and identities feel welcome and safe. I truly believe that my clients are the experts on themselves and their experiences. I prefer to follow the lead of my clients and work at their pace as we navigate the path of healing and growth together. My approach emphasizes the importance of building a relationship and connecting as humans. Some of our time together may look like taking steps towards goals, while some sessions may focus on navigating the challenges that arise in everyday life and celebrating the small victories.

I practice from a humanistic approach and incorporate interventions from ACT and CBT to help clients meet their goals. I often incorporate mindfulness and other evidence-based intervention as necessary. In my practice as a therapist, I enjoy harnessing clients’ personal values to help them work towards living their most authentic lives. Although I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds, I am particularly passionate about working with children, families, teens, and emerging adulthood clients.
