Who I am as a Therapist
Big life questions—identity shifts, lingering trauma, hitting a wall with anxiety or burnout—can feel noisy and hard to untangle on your own. I offer a steady, collaborative space where we slow things down, tune in to what your body and stories are saying, and experiment with practical ways to move forward. You bring lived experience and personal wisdom; I bring clinical training, direct feedback, and a grounded presence. Together we’ll work toward whatever “better” means for you—calmer days, clearer purpose, or simply feeling more at home in your own skin.
My style is warm, candid, growth-focused. Clients have said that relative to other therapists they’ve worked with, I push them forward more, rather than just providing a place to feel heard. I’ve leaned further into attachment‑ and trauma‑focused care, supporting neurodivergent adults, people navigating complex family histories, and those living outside dominant cultural scripts—without asking anyone to translate their identity for the therapy room. Whoever you invite into the process (partners, family, or just your own thoughts), my goal is that you leave each session feeling seen, understood, and equipped to try something new.
I work with adult individuals and relationships of all sorts.

Who I am when I’m not a Therapist
Friends say I carry steady curiosity and dry‑humored warmth wherever I go—qualities that show up in session, too. Weekends might find me backpacking Oregon wilderness, reading sci‑fi on a riverbank, or working on small craft and art projects. Community, food, movement, and the outdoors keep me grounded—and often sneak into my therapy metaphors.
