Who I am as a Therapist
Throughout life, unhelpful patterns, societal messages, trauma and oppressive systems may disconnect you from yourself, your relationships, and nature. As a therapist, I strive to guide you towards a deeper understanding of your patterns and what influences them, so that you can move forward with more clarity and connectedness. I believe that through reflection, insight, and deeper connection with ourselves and others, we can achieve healing and more preferred possibilities. I aim to create a collaborative environment, grounded in warmth and compassion, that nurtures your innate abilities to heal and grow. I approach my work with a systemic and relational lens, and while I enjoy working with many populations, I specialize in working with couples and adult and teen individuals.
As a biracial Asian-American woman, I have experienced how my intersecting identities can shape relational power dynamics. I bring this perspective into our work, and consider equity and justice throughout. I value and look forward to working with individuals and families of all identities and configurations, including the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. I want therapy to be a space where you feel welcome showing up as your whole authentic self.
I primarily draw from Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Ecotherapy. Attending therapy is a vulnerable and courageous act, and I feel honored to be able to hold space for you as we work through the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of life.

Who I am when I’m not a Therapist
Having grown up in Oregon, I feel intimately tied to this region’s nature and love to get outside and take forest walks or lounge by a river in the sun. When I’m not being a therapist, you can also find me exploring local parks with my son, spending time with friends, reading epic fantasy novels, visiting animal sanctuaries, and taking dance classes.
