Who I am as a Therapist
Navigating the labyrinth of human emotions and experiences is a deeply personal journey, and I am here to walk alongside you with empathy and understanding. I am dedicated to creating a space where your emotions are fully embraced and your unique story is honored.
With a focus on compassion and attunement, I approach each therapeutic relationship with an open heart and deep respect for your unique experiences. I understand that each person’s journey is shaped by their cultural background and life experiences, and I am dedicated to providing an inclusive practice that honors diverse identities. I am also mindful of how oppressive systems affect marginalized groups, including the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
Whether you are navigating relational challenges, managing life’s transitions, or exploring personal growth, I strive to provide support that acknowledges and respects your unique context. I believe that true healing occurs when we allow ourselves to fully experience and understand our emotions. My therapeutic approach integrates a warm, non-judgmental presence with a focus on embracing the full spectrum of feelings—whether they be joy, sorrow, anger, or vulnerability. Drawing from various therapeutic modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy and Existential Humanism, I use tools and techniques tailored to your needs and goals. I work collaboratively with you to create a safe and supportive environment where these emotions can be expressed and explored.
It is my privilege to guide you on your path to healing, and I am dedicated to walking this journey with you, respecting your pace and celebrating your progress. Together, we will navigate the complexities of your emotions and experiences, working towards a more fulfilling and authentic life.
“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Who I am when I’m not a Therapist
When I’m not being a therapist, I enjoy floating on the river, camping, or taking a stroll around the neighborhood. I love feeling strong through weightlifting and yoga and spending an afternoon thrift shopping. I like experimenting with new recipes, playing cards with friends, and relaxing with my cat and a good novel.
