Who I am as a Therapist
As a therapist, I’m driven by curiosity. I think understanding someone means looking at the whole picture: their relationships, past experiences, fears, hopes, and goals. This helps me figure out the best way to support each person, whether they’re five years old or well into adulthood.
When it comes to kids, I’m always mindful that being a child can feel like constantly being at the mercy of the adults around you. It’s no wonder they try to wrestle back a bit of control wherever they can; I’m here to help them make sense of that, and hopefully, feel a little more in charge of their own world.
With adults, I usually take an insight-driven approach. It’s about understanding why things are the way they are and figuring out how to change the patterns that aren’t working anymore. It’s less about quick fixes and more about really seeing what’s going on under the surface so that you can start to shift old habits and make space for new ones that actually work for you.

Who I am when I’m not a Therapist
When I’m not a therapist, you can find me at my local yoga studio, going for a swim, berating my finicky sewing machine, playing with my cats, sitting in my hammock reading a novel, cooking a nice meal, trying to learn how to play tennis better, and socializing with my friends.
